April 23rd is St. George's Day so we have been looking at some of the history of this day and ways to celebrate. Whether you are going to  a Parade wearing a St. George's Hat or Wig or having a meal out with friends in a restaurant or pub decorated with St. George's Bunting there is something for everyone to enjoy. I went to see the show Rock Of Ages last week which was a real trip down memory lane. It is set in the 80's and is full of great Costmes,  Rock Music and laughs. It left you feeling you wanted to get home and get out your Inflatable Guitar and Microphone and sing in front of the mirror. We would love to know if you have seen the show and what you thought.

World Book Day on 7th March has always been a favourite day in my house. As well as loving Books my children loved Dressing Up as their favourite Book Characters such as Oliver, The Little Mermaid and Robin Hood and then getting their book vouchers to spend. Storytelling wokshops at the library is also a great way to enjoy books. We would love to know if your children are wearing Fancy Dress Costumes at school.
