February 26th is The Oscars and a night I always look forward as I love going to the Cinema. My favourite film that I have seen recently is The Artist and would love to know if you have seen it and what you thought or what your favourite film has been. The Oscars are always fun to enjoy with your friends especially if you have an Oscar Themed Night giving out Awards and putting up Decorations. Please let us know if you will be having an Oscar Themed Party.

We are now preparing for St. Patricks Day which is a traditional day in Ireland and linked to everything Irish. Businesses are closed with the exception of pubs and restaurants which are Decorated often using Decoration Packs and Balloons and many people go to celebrate Dressing Up in Hats and Wigs. We would love to know how you will be celebrating St. Patricks Day on 17th March.

We are looking forward to the Diamond Jubilee Concert which was announced this week by Gary Barlow and will take place on 4th June outside Buckingham Palace. Flags will be flying and there is to be a great line of stars to include music from from each decade of the Queens Reign. Thousands of tickets are to be given away by ballot and the concert will also be televised. This will be a great ocassion and we would love to know if you are applying for tickets or if you will be watching at home with friends.

Today I am starting to think about Valentines Day and how it is only two weeks away. We have been chatting in the office about our Valentines Day Surprises and the Romantic Gestures we have received. These include being sent Flowers, Balloons and having Romantic Meals both at home and in restaurants complete with Valentines Candles and Decorations. We would love to know if Valentines Day is special to you and what your biggest surprises have been.

Today I am talking about The Diamond Jubilee and how it seems that Street Parties and Events are being organised earlier than they were for The Royal Wedding. Realising how much enjoyment came from the festivities of The Royal Wedding people want to get involved and do it all over again by planning get- togethers and Union Jack Themed Parties.
