Novelties Direct would like a wish Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge a happy 1st Wedding Anniversary. We have been looking back at the Royal Wedding and the fantastic community spirit as well as a look at how they have spent their first married year. There were loads of celebratory Street Parties and Union Jack Flags waved. The public decorated their homes and workplaces with Union Jack Bunting and Party Packs.

We would like to say well done to all the runners who participated in yesterdays London Marathon. It was a great Marathon to watch on a lovely sunny day. There were many people running in Fancy Dress Costumes which added to the atmosphere and there were also lots of Celebrities running. Please tell us if you ran in the Marathon yesterday and how you are feeling today.

With St. Georges Day so close we have been looking at a couple of events that are being put on in London that sound great family fun. Many Pubs and Restaurants will be Decorated with Party Packs, Balloons and Flags and to get into the atmosphere of the day it is fun to wear St. George's Party Hats, Masks and Headboppers. We would love to know which St. George's Day Celebrations you will be attending. 

With 100 days to go until the Olympic Games and the slogan 'Inspire A Generation' announced we have been looking at different ways that the public are getting involved in various aspects of the Games. These include Volunteers, Torch Bearers and Spectators getting into the atmosphere with Hats, Flags and  Novelty Accessories such as Sunglasses. We would love to know if you are taking part in any of these activities.

We are looking forward to a nice long weekend this weekend as it is Easter Weekend. We would love to know how you will be spending this weekend as it is a lovely time to enjoy with family and friends having Easter Decorations up and arranging get-togethers.. We have been finding out about some Easter Traditions and where the words Easter and Good Friday originate and of course thinking about those yummy Easter Eggs.
