With the start of Oktoberfest this weekend we have been looking at some of the history of how Oktoberfest began and how it is celebrated now. This German Beer Festival takes place in Munich and Bavaria as well as other parts of the world, where typical German Costume is worn and tents and venues have German Themed Decorations such as Flags, Balloons and Bunting. With the glorious summer that we have been having it has been great being able to have barbeques and Summer Parties. We have given some Summer Party Ideas including wearing Sunglasses and Hats and putting up Decorations such as Cutouts and Dangling Suns. Shot Glasses and Inflatatables add that extra touch of fun. We would love to know if you have attended any summer parties.

Having been in Brighton this weekend we enjoyed seeing the fun and atmosphere of the Gay Pride Parade. The crowds were all having a good time many dressed up in Fancy Dress Costumes, Hawaiian Leis and Fancy Dress Costume Accessories. There were also Rainbow Flags and Bunting put up outside bars and clubs. Please let us know if you were in Brighton this weekend and your experiences.

Today we are congratulating William and Kate on the birth of their son who was born at 4:24 yesterday afternoon. The celebrations spread through the country yesterday with Union Jack Flags and Bunting and It's A Boy Banners and Balloons being put up. We would love to know if you have been as glued to watching as we have and what you think the babys name will be.

It is almost the due date for Kate and Prince Williams baby to be born and we have been talking about whether Kate had a Baby Shower. If she did it would have been full of girlie fun and Baby Shower Decorations and Banners as well as Baby Shower Games played. We would love to hear all about your Baby Shower experiences.
