Malta/Maltese Flag. The Flag of Malta was adopted in September 1964, Day of the Independence. The flag is made up of two vertical bands: the left one is white, the right one is red. White and red are also the colours of the Malta's Cavaliers. On the upper left side there's a St. George's Cross, given to Malta's Peoples for their heroism during the Second World War .
