Wimbledon has just started and as well as great Tennis this also symbolizes the Best of British. Included in these traditions are Strawberries and Cream, Queues and the Weather. Camping out with tents, sleeping bags and Diposable Tableware is also a big part of the Wimbledon atmosphere. We would love to know if you have ever queued for Wimbledon and what matches you have seen.
Wimbledon - The The Great British Institution has begun and continues until Sunday 8th July. As well as seeing great players such as Andy Murray there are are many Wimbledon traditions. These include Strawberries and Cream, queues and camping out. The British weather can of course not be forgotten, this is a time where you can watch a match wearing either a Sun Visor or an Umbrella Hat!! If you did not manage to get Wimbledon Tickets in the ballot you are able to buy tickets on the day. Every year we see scenes of people camping out and queuing from the early hours to watch some outstanding Tennis. My son queued a couple of years ago and loved the atmosphere as well as the Tennis.
Have you ever queued or camped out for Wimbledon tickets? Which matches did you see?
