Synopsis:
Today I have been thinking about my daughters 16th Birthday which is very soon. She is having a Party and wants everything Sweet Sixteen and we have been talking in the office about how much more a Sixteenth Birthday is celebrated now, its almost as big as Eighteen and Twenty One. We would love to know if you had big birthday celebrations and if they were Sixteen, Eighteen, Twenty One or all three.
I can't believe my daughter is nearly 16!!! She is really looking forward to her party with 50+ of her very best friends. She has told me that she would like everything themed Sweet 16 from Banners and Balloons to Tablecovers and Cups. Becoming Sixteen is now as big a celebration as being Eighteen or Twenty One and is definitely much bigger than when I was Sixteen. I think its mainly because of programmes showing big birthday parties.
What do you think, has your teenager wanted bigger parties after seeing T.V Programmmes? Was your Eighteenth and Twenty First also celebrated in a big way?
