Having seen a photograph in today's newspaper of Suri Cruise out with her mum Katie Holmes all dressed up in a Fancy Dress Costume I have been remembering how my children used to want to choose their own clohes and how they always wanted to Dress Up in their favourite Costumes. We have also been discussing in the office how young children are when they want to decide what to wear. Please join our discussion and let us know how young your children are or were when they starting choosing their clothes in the morning and if they insisted on wearing Fancy Dress on a day out.
Today there is a very cute picture in the paper of Suri Cruise in a Fancy Dress Costume while out with her mum Katie Holmes. Seeing this brought back memories of how my kids always wanted to choose their own clothes when they were little and it was always invariably a Fancy Dress Costume that they wanted to go to Nursery in. My son always had to be either Superman, a Fireman or a Pirate and my daughter always loved to be a Royal Princess, Snow White or Tinkerbell. Having read this article about Suri choosing her own clothes we have been chatting in the office about how young our children were which was probably about four or five when they wanted to start choosing what clothes to wear - thank goodness for school uniform!!!
