We would love to know where you will be on St. George's Day and how you will be celebrating.

As the end of March is nearing we are looking forward to St. George's Day which falls on 23rd April. The Flag Of England will be flying to remember St. George who in 1348 became the Patron Saint of England. St. George was a Roman Soldier who protested against the suffering of Christians and died because of his values. St. George is recognized as a Knight carrying a Shield with a Red Cross sitting on a horse killing a dragon. There will be celebrations up and down the country where Town Centres, pubs, restaurants and homes will be Decorated with Balloons, Bunting and Cutouts. It is also fun to get into the spirit of the day by wearing Hats and Dressing Up. Whether you choose Bowlers , Toppers, a St. George's Dress or a Flag Cape you will certainly look the part.

Where will you be on St. George's Day? Will you be celebrating?
