Saturday 30th June is Armed Forces Day. We have been thinking about the dedicated work of the Armed Forces and how important this day is to raise awareness and support the Armed Forces. There are lots of events taking place and Flags will be flying with pride. Many Street Parties will have Union Jack Decorations, Bunting and Tableware. There is a National Event including a parade taking place in Plymouth. We would love to know if you are going to any of these events.
Saturday 30th June is Armed Forces Day. This is a day dedicated to raising awareness of The Royal Navy, The British Armyand The Royal Air Force. A big part of this day is also to support the UK Armed Forces and the part they play in defending the UK. There are lots of communities holding local events where Flags will be flying. There is a national event in Plymouth with a parade through the streets from all three services. Many people will be attending Street Parties where Decorations will include Union Jack Theme Packs , Table Flags and Tableware. I have already driven past loads of homes and seen Bunting and Support Our Troops Flags waving with pride.
