Wimbledon Begins Today

Wimbledon begins today with Andy Murray playing on Centre Court so there will no doubt be plenty of Face Masks being worn among the crowd. He is hoping to make history by winning this year and we have been looking at some of the traditions of Wimbledon such as using Outdoor Tablewear for strawbwerries and cream and wearing Sunglasses and Umbrella Hats for the changing weather. We would love to know your experiences.
Wimbledon begins today and lasts for two weeks. This tennis tournament is an institution, having started in 1877 it is the oldest tennis competition in the world and it was first televised in 1937. Britains hopeful Andy Murray plays today on Centre Court against Benjamin Becker. Murray won Gold at the Olympics this year and is hoping to make history being the first male to win Wimbledon since Fred Perry. There are many traditions surrounding Wimbledon which include playing on grass, Strawberries And Cream, queuing and camping, the Royals attending and of course the Rain! There is no rain forecast during the first week and with a bit of luck that is true or we could see the usual mix of Sunglasses and Umbrella Hats.
Do you love Wimbledon? Please let us know your experiences of going.
