Sport Relief weekend takes place 21st - 23rd March although many events have already started. This is the ideal time to get together with friends and family to watch the proceedings and raise money. It is great fun to join sports personalities and Celebrities and put up Sports Themed Decorations as well as wearing Sports Masks and having Sports Personality Cardboard Cutouts. Please let us know what events you are taking part in and where you will be watching.

Sport Relief this year takes place from Friday 21st - Sunday 23rd March although there are many events that have already started taking place. The first Sport Relief was in 2002 and brings Sports Personalities, celebrities and the public together to raise money for UK charities and the world's poorest countries. They do all of this while getting the Nation active, enjoying sport and having fun. The focal point of the Sport Relief campaign is the Sport Relief Mile which enables anyone to take part by either, for example, walking, running , jogging, skipping or crawling. Starting a few weeks before the official dates, schools, youth groups and celebrities get involved in events such as Davina taking part in the Sports Relief Challenge and The Sport Relief Bake Off. Sports Relief is the perfect nights viewing and a great reason to stay in and watch with friends and family getting involved in the spirit of the night. Have fun putting up Sports Themed Decorations such as Sports Party Rings and Footballer Cutouts. Sports Stars can even join you for the evening in the form of an Andy Murray Cutout or a Rebecca Adlington Face Mask. I always enjoy this night with family while donating to this fantastic cause.

Have you taken part in any Sport Relief events? Will you be watching?
