Childrens Book Week in May is the perfect opportunity for your children to get into their Fancy Dress Costumes to become their favourite story characters including Snow White and Robin Hood. These can be added to with Fancy Dress Accessories such as Hats or Pirate Eyes Patches and Hooks. This is a great way to encourage a love of books. Please let us know if your children are getting involved in Book Week activities.
It will soon be Childrens Book Week which has been recognized since 1919. Encoraging the value of reading and reading for pleasure is something to be celebrated. There are many events held in schools, libraries and bookshops across the country. Children can Dress Up as their favourite characters such as Frankenstein, a Mermaid, a Pirate or Snow White. Children can experience classic stories such as Oliver, Robin Hood and various Fairy Stories. My children have always enjoyed the excitement of Book Week at school.
