Bastille Day is on 14th July and celebrates the Storming of The Bastille and the start of the French Revolution. Having a French Themed Party using the French Flag and French Decorations such as Cutouts and French Decoration Packs as well as Red, White and Blue Ballons is the ideal way to create the feeling and atmosphere of being France. French beretIt will be soon be time to fly the French Flag as Bastille Day is on 14th July. This is the French National Day and post offices, banks and most businesses will be closed on this day.

This commemorates the Storming of The Bastille to release political prisoners on French bleu-blanc-rouge face mask14th July 1789 and the beginning of the French Revolution. Bastille was a prison and the storming was a sign of liberty and the fight against oppression. The Eiffel Tower and the Tricolore Flag are important symbols of Bastille Day. There are also communal meals and picnics held as well as dances, parties and fireworks.
